Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The snow forecast for Super Bowl Sunday will be light, according to NBC12 Forecaster Nick Russo. Russo says the Richmond area should get less than an inch, while Louisa, Buckingham, and the Blue Ridge could see one to two inches.

Russo says there is a concern for slick spots, however, as it will turn cold. Russo says the roads should not turn snow covered, because it will be warm leading up to the snow, but what is wet could become icy. Wet roads turned icy earlier in the week, creating a messy morning commute Tuesday morning.

The storm will start as rain overnight, and turn to snow during the day Sunday, according to Russo.
