Short Pump, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico Fire and Police say two construction workers were killed, and a third employee burned, when scaffolding at the home they were working on touched power lines. The home, under construction, is located just down the street from Colonial Trail Elementary School in Short Pump.

As police and firefighters prepared to inform the media of what occurred, a woman could be heard screaming "No! No!" Firefighters say the accident occurred around eight this morning, and was originally called in as a fire. The incident caused a large power outage in the Short Pump area for a time.
OSHA is investigating. The power lines impacted brought power to the neighborhood where the accident occurred. The third man is receiving treatment for burns on his body at VCU Medical Center.
