Chase, N.C. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The suspect in Tuesday evening's triple shooting in the East End of Henrico has been killed in a shootout in North Carolina. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Department says a deputy was injured in the shooting as well.
The Rutherford Sheriff's Department says Henrico Police informed them Tiye Washington II could be in the area, after he was suspected of shooting three family members Tuesday. Two woman and and young man suffered life-threatening injuries in that shooting on Mason Manor Drive.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is looking into the officer-involved shooting. The condition of the deputy is not known.
