UPDATE: Two Arrested After Teen Killed at Chesterfield Party

Chester, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -

ORIGINAL: Chesterfield Police say a teenage boy is dead, and a second person wounded, following a shooting at a Chester party Saturday evening. The shooting happened at an event on Ironbridge Parkway.

Police say when they arrived around 10:30pm, they found a teenage boy shot to death in a bathroom. His identity has not yet been released. They do believe he was the intended target of the shooting.

Police also say that before they arrived, a Sheriff's Deputy, who had been providing security, encountered a person with a handgun. Police say the deputy shot that individual, who was then taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. No word on any action regarding the deputy.

This is the second fatal shooting at a Chesterfield Party in a month.
