Three Police Shootings in Virginia This Weekend

Henrico, Va. (Nwewsradiowerva.com) -- Henrico Police, still waiting to release more information in this past Saturday's shooting of a suspect along I-64 in the eastern part of the county. The shooting was one of three involving law enforcement in the Commonwealth over the weekend.

Henrico Police say they shot a person, after responding to an accident Saturday evening on I-64. Police say when they arrived, there was an encounter, and that's when the shooting took place. Two people in the car were taken to the hospital, where one died. Also on Saturday evening, State Police say they shot and killed a suspect following a chase and crash along I-664 in Chesapeake. A passenger in the car also died in the crash

On Sunday, there was a third shooting. There, law enforcement says a woman was shot and killed after she refused to stop for a Wildlife Resources officer, and then engaged in a standoff that ended when they say she came out armed.
