Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - A father and a son were injured in an early morning house fire in western Henrico County on Thursday.
Crews with the Henrico County Division of Fire were called to a house fire located in the 10900 block of Tray Way in the county at 3:21 a.m. on Thursday, May 9.
Officials arrived at the scene four minutes later and located three people who made it out of the home, including two males who were taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A third person, a female, accompanied them to the hospital but was not injured.
It’s unclear at this time what caused the fire or where it originated within the home. Officials say the home looks to be a potential total loss. Fire officials said smoke and flames also damaged a neighboring home.
As of 6 a.m. on Thursday, crews were still working to extinguish the fire.
