Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com)- The Virginia Lottery is recognizing not only educators, but their talented students as well, with their annual Thank A Teacher Campaign.

This year, four teachers throughout Virginia will be awarded a vacation and $2,500 worth of school supplies from the Virginia Lottery and their partners. But first, the company held a contest to find the best art to put on the thank you notes for Virginia's educators.

The winners of that art contest will see their art on the thousands of thank you notes that are given out each year.

Virginia Lottery's Director of Public Affairs and Community Relations, Jennifer Mullens, says that the company expects to give out between 35,000 and 40,000 thank you notes this year.

She also says that the notes can be delivered on paper or in electronic form. You can get yours from the Virginia Lottery's website from now until May 6th.
