Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Speaking in Richmond a short time after the attack in Kabul, Senator Mark Warner said the first step needs to be to secure the Kabul Airport, and then to finish the evacuation of the country. Warner is the ranking member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, and was in town for an event at Richmond International Airport.
Warner also called on the Taliban to help go after the terrorists. The group believed responsible, ISIS-K, is an enemy of the Taliban.
Warner also added that he has questions about the Taliban Takeover, but the time to ask those is later, not now.
