Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The fate of the real estate tax cut introduced by city councilwoman Reva Trammel is still undecided until the next Richmond City Council meeting on Nov. 12.
Reva Trammell's proposal would see the real estate tax rate reduced from $1.20 per $100 to $1.16 per $100 for 2025. Trammell has been pushing for real estate tax relief as far back as 2022.
On Wednesday's show, John Reid talked with Reva Trammell about where things stand with the ordinance. Listen here.
