Chesterfield County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Chesterfield County Police are continuing to investigate an assault of a woman which happened Sunday morning on the Fort Darling trail in Richmond National Battlefield Park.
Officials say a woman was walking her dogs and was approached by a man who tried to speak to her. When the female did not respond, the man got angry and began assaulting her. He fled the scene after she screamed for help.
Chesterfield authorities have provided a description for the suspect: a Black male, 6’2 in height, and last seen going into a white sedan wearing a white t-shirt with either black or gray jeans.
