Dinwiddie, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - UPDATE: State Police say the 19-year old driver, T'miya Murphy, of Chesterfield, died from her injuries Tuesday evening.
ORIGINAL: State Police say a 19-year old Chesterfield woman has life-threatening injuries, after she was shot while driving on I-85 in Dinwiddie County Tuesday morning. Police do not have a motive or a suspect car description.
Police say shortly before 11, the woman, who was driving a Kia Optima, was shot while driving southbound. She then crossed the southbound lanes, and crashed on the right shoulder. The incident caused backups in the area, which is not far from where I-85 and Route 1 intersect.
Police are asking anyone with information to please call them.
