Marc Cox returns to the broadcast following an extensive European trip through Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and Germany with his family and station listeners, sharing first-hand observations on $12-a-gallon diesel gas, government regulations, and local cultural norms like Autobahn driving and breakfast beer. Across the hour, Cox presents the Shortlist featuring audio from the Karen Read trial juror and political figures, reads a viral warning from French entrepreneur Brivael Le Pogam regarding the long-term economic dangers of social-democratic state programs, and joins Kim Hudson on Kim on a Whim to analyze zero-tuition thresholds at major private universities alongside Missouri state ballot amendments. The hour concludes with commentary on political rally crowd sizes, Swiss patriotic merchandise, and a lighthearted account of renting high-end e-bikes without security deposits in Burghausen, Germany.
