A Wilmington, Delaware, woman has been charged with vehicular homicide and DUI following a crash that killed a man over the weekend.
Delaware State Police said 35-year-old Michelle Palazzolo ran a red light at Concord Pike and Rocky Run Parkway Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said her Ford Taurus slammed into the side of a gray Toyota Prius that was making a left turn onto Concord Pike and had the green light.
The driver of the Prius, a 72-year-old man from Newark, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Palazzolo was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police said she showed signs of impairment at the time of the crash.
