'That 70's Show,' 'Bond' actress Tanya Roberts dies at 65 after her death was misreported

Former "Bond Girl" and '80s star Tanya Roberts died Monday night after her rep and partner had both mistakenly said that she passed away on Sunday.

Her domestic partner, Lance O'Brien, confirmed Roberts' death on Monday night, telling TMZ that he received a call from his partner's doctor in the evening.

Earlier Monday, following the misreported news of her death, it was confirmed that Roberts was still alive. Her rep claimed that the reports were exaggerated.

The rep previously told TMZ that Roberts collapsed on Christmas Eve after returning from a walk with her dogs.

TMZ noted that the death does not appear to be COVID-related and adds that she appeared “perfectly healthy” in the days leading up to the collapse.

Roberts is best known for the role of Bond girl, Stacy Sutton, in a “A View to Kill” with Roger Moore.

She also starred as Donna’s mom, Midge, on “That 70’s Show,” Julie Rogers in the "Charlie's Angels” TV series, and appeared in dozens of comedies and slasher films.

In addition to acting, Roberts also posed for Playboy and appeared in several TV commercials.

She is survived by her current husband, Lance, and her sister Barbara Chase.
