New info has emerged after news erupted that singer Cassie Ventura, known as "Cassie," filed a $30M lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs. Sources now claim Diddy tried to pay Cassie off to keep her quiet.
The two began dating in 2007, when Cassie was 19-years-old, and Diddy was 37. The lawsuit alleges rape, physical abuse and more. Combs denies the allegations, and claims Cassie allegedly attempted to initially blackmail him for millions. According to Combs attorney, Cassie demanded $30 million, "under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship." In other words, Diddy's team is insinuating Cassie was looking for a payday. However, her attorney claims that Diddy actually offered "eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit."
