Is Emma Watson really retiring from acting?

Don’t send Hermione Granger any retirement gifts just yet.

Fans of Emma Watson appeared to be put under a “Harry Potter” spell after rumors swirled that she was giving up on her acting career.

The actress began trending on social media after the Daily Mail published an article saying Watson had gone “dormant.”

"Emma Watson has gone 'dormant' according to her agent," the publication reported. "That appears to be movie-speak for she's 'given up acting.'"

After Watson’s fanbase was sent into a tizzy, the “Beauty and the Beast” star’s rep set the record straight.

"Emma's social media accounts are dormant but her career isn't," Watson’s manager Jason Weinberg told Entertainment Weekly.

The 30-year-old shared her last Instagram post on June 6th and her account bio currently states, “Emma’s official Instagram page is currently dormant and is not being updated.”

As far as Twitter, Watson’s most recent tweet was posted on August 27th.

The English star's last big screen role was appearing alongside Saoirse Ronan, Laura Dern and Meryl Streep in the 2019 film “Little Women.”

Watson’s “Harry Potter” co-star Daniel Radcliffe recently opened up about being embarrassed by his early acting.

"I'm intensely embarrassed by some of my acting, obviously," Radcliffe, who was 11 when he appeared in the first "Harry Potter" film, said. "But yeah, it's like asking, 'How do you feel about your teenage years?' There's so much in there that it's almost impossible to single out one feeling."

"I'm incredibly grateful for the experience,” he said of playing the titular character in the franchise. “It showed me what I want to do with the rest of my life. To find out early on what you love is really lucky.”

Until Watson’s next project surfaces, fans can watch her and Radcliffe’s iconic performances by streaming all 8 "Harry Potter" films on Peacock.
