Bindi Irwin is no stranger to updating her following on her pregnancy. The latest update shows a pregnant Irwin flaunting her growing baby bump and sticking with her methods of comparing the size of her child to small animals.
In the post, Irwin, 22, can be seen in gray cargo pants and black tank top, cradling her growing bump. "My beautiful mum took this photo yesterday," she captioned the post.
She continued, "Baby girl is doing great. Every time we get an ultrasound she's incredibly energetic and always moving around. She's now about the same size as a mountain pygmy-possum. Too cute!"
Irwin has previously used a slew of wild animals to describe her baby girl's growth patterns, comparing her child to a hummingbird as well as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise in previous posts.
Irwin and husband Chandler Powell announced in August that their baby would be coming.
"Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021," Irwin wrote on Instagram at the time. "Chandler and I are proud to announce that we're expecting! It's an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you."
Powell shared the news on his own Instagram as well, writing, "We’re going to be parents!! We have a baby Wildlife Warrior on the way coming in 2021. Becoming a dad is the highlight of my life."
The couple tied the knot in March.
