Tuesday morning, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominees for the 2022 Academy Awards, and among the list of nominees across 23 categories, we find some familiar voices up for Oscars this year.

Beyoncé Knowles Carter, Dixson - "Be Alive" from 'King Richard'

Written and produced by Beyoncé and Dixson for the biographical drama, King Richard, "Be Alive" and was released on November 12, 2021. It was also nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song and a Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Song.

Reba McEntire - "Somehow You Do" from 'Four Good Days'

Written by Diane Warren and performed by Reba McEntire, "Somehow You Do" is the lead single from Four Good Days, starring Glenn Close and Mila Kunis, released in April 2021.

Lin-Manuel Miranda - "Dos Oruguitas" from 'Encanto'

Translated as "Two Little Caterpillars," "Dos Oruguitas" was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and performed by Colombian singer-songwriter Sebastián Yatra for Disney's 2021 animated film Encanto, released on November 19, 2021. "Dos Oruguitas" also marked Yatra's first-ever appearance on the Billboard Hot 100.

Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell - "No Time to Die" from 'No Time to Die'

"No Time to Die," written and recorded by Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O'Connell in their bedroom studio, is the theme for the latest James Bond film of the same name. At just 18-years-old at the time, Eilish is the youngest artist to have provided a James Bond theme, and the track has already garnered the duo a 2021 GRAMMY for Best Song Written for Visual Media, as well as a Golden Globe for Best Original Song at the 2022 awards ceremony.

Van Morrison - "Down to Joy" from 'Belfast'

Morrison's re-recording of his '70s song "Down To Joy" can be heard during the opening credits of the film Belfast, a 2021 Irish/British coming of age comedy-drama written and directed by Kenneth Branagh.

The 94th annual Academy Awards are scheduled for Sunday, March 27 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles and will be televised live on ABC starting at 5PM PT / 8PM ET. While the show has gone without a host since 2018, the Academy is reportedly looking to have multiple masters of ceremonies for this year’s star-studded event.
