The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will play each other in Super Bowl LVII. Majority of Cleveland Browns fans are feeling defeated and have lost hope that the Browns will ever make it to the Super Bowl. So now which team do we want to win the big game? Well, the city of Cleveland has ties to both teams.
Cleveland Heights is the hometown of Eagles center Jason Kelce and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. They will be the first pair of brothers to face off against each other in Super Bowl history.
Cleveland Heights has celebrated the Kelce brothers' previous Super Bowl appearances when the Eagles won in 2017 and the Chiefs won in 2020. To show support to both brothers and their teams, Cleveland Heights is having what they call "Light up the Heights," an event in which residents are asked to light their front porches with gold lightbulbs on Sunday, Feb. 12, in a display of unity for the city and support for its most famous sons.
According to an Instagram post about the event, free gold lightbulbs will be available while supplies last at several Cleveland Heights area businesses, including the following:
The Wine Spot
Washington & Lee Service
The Tavern Company
The Social Room
Grog Shop/B Side
Parnell's Pub
Luna Bakery Cafe
