According to a press release, a "Celebration of Life" memorial will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, April 24th. Fans are invited to watch via DMX's YouTube channel.
The following day on Sunday, April 25, the homegoing celebration will be held. It will begin at 2:30pm ET and will broadcast live on BET and its YouTube channel. Both memorials are closed to the public to comply with COVID protocols and NY State health and safety guidelines. Reps for the rapper expressed that any updates will be available on his Instagram.
DMX died on April 9 from a heart attack triggered by a drug overdose. He was 50.
