Today’s pet is Bevy. She’s a very loving 8-year-old who loves cuddles and will sit on your lap despite being 60 lbs. She has spent some time in foster care where they learned that she learns the rules of the house quickly. She’s also crate trained, seems to be house trained, and knows tricks like “sit,” so this girl is a fast learner!
When Bevy came into Richmond SPCA's care, her discomfort was impossible to miss. She suffered from severe skin irritation, recurring infections, dozens of skin masses, digestive issues, and more. During her treatment, she also underwent an emergency surgery for a rotated stomach, but she’s made tremendous progress and is now ready to find her lasting, loving home.
