Hotch is an inquisitive young dog who still has a lot of puppy energy at a year and a half old. Though he can be timid at first, give him time to warm up and you have a sweet velcro dog who leans close for affection.

The trainers at the Richmond SPCA have been working with Hotch, and he's a quick study who thoroughly enjoys positive reinforcement training — even though he's limited in the types of treats he can have due to a sensitive tummy. So far, Hotch knows sit and down. Continued training will be key to helping him flourish in his new home, and his adopters will receive a scholarship to attend a training class with him at the Richmond SPCA.
