The Rockets didn't just trade for Kevin Durant. They've been aggressive at the start of NBA free agency, by signing forward Dorian Finney-Smith and center Clint Capela to multi-year deals.
This was all after re-signing backup center Steven Adams on a three-year, $39 million contract, restructured Fred VanVleet's contract and of course traded for Kevin Durant.
Houston is putting the rest of the NBA on notice. Last season's No. 2 seed isn't satisfied with just being in the mix. The Rockets want a legitimate shot at the title this upcoming season.
