When the Houston Texans host the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football -- at the same time as the two cities will be competing in the World Series -- they'll do so with a new look.

While the Texans have had a "battle red" alternate uniform since 2003, their second season of play, they'll rock a matching red helmet for the first time on Thursday:

With the NFL's one-helmet rule eliminated, 13 teams are using alternate helmets this season, some new and some classic throwbacks that have been brought back. The Washington Commanders are slated to wear their alternate black helmets in Week 9, when they host the Minnesota Vikings.
