The 10th Annual Cupid’s Undie Run Cleveland is approaching. Runners will brave the winter elements for about a one mile run in 'their bedroom-best' on Saturday February 11th.

The run is on Valentine's Day weekend in Tremont and the goal is to raise awareness for Neurofibromatosis (NF), a rare, terminal and incurable tumor condition that attacks the nervous system. Fundraising efforts from the run benefit The Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF) in support of its mission to research, treat and end NF.

Are you still wondering why it's called the Undie Run? The run originated in Washington, DC in 2010, where the founders came up with the idea to use undie-clad runners in the middle of winter as a flashy way to bring lots of attention to NF, which doesn't get a lot of attention. Now, the run is done in many cities nationwide and even some internationally.

All the details:
The run will start at The South Side in Tremont at 2207 W 11th St, Cleveland, Ohio. The registration and party tent open at noon and the run kicks off at 2pm.

If you want to witness the run, but not partake, the public is invited to come and cheer on the runners. The Undie Run has official watch bars in the Tremont neighborhood along the route to watch from. The bars are The Flying Monkey, Hi and Dry, Treehouse and South Side.

You can donate to any runner in Cleveland or register to run yourself by clicking here. Must be 21 years of age or older.
