I am a nurse myself but want to honor my mother who is a nurse for the Cleveland Clinic. She was born in Poland and was a nurse there before coming here in her 20s. She learned english went through schooling and became a nurse here as well. She is a very dedicated and caring nurse who motivated me to become one too!

She has been helping her patients fight their cancer, and now fighting covid as well She is the mother of our 4 children , and is one of the strongest women I know. Thank you Megan for everything you do!!

Eryme Flynt

Honored by Carla Percy

Eryme works on a busy floor at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.  She completed her BSN just as COVID was starting and was promoted to an Assistant Nurse Manager on her floor right after that.  She had to learn her new role quickly as she was in charge of floating nurses where they were needed the most to take care of COVID patients.  She is an excellent nurse and deserves praise.  I am so hard of the work she has done and continues to do.

Missy Glaze

Honored by Nancy Ziaja

My daughter Missy is a dedicated nurse. She works in the ICU unit at Parma UH Hospital. During this last year it has taken everything these nurses could do for their patients. She gives her 100% when she is there and more. She goes beyond the call of duty and I m so proud of her. She brings sunshine to her patients. I am so proud of her

Kate

Honored by Laura Hoffman

My Mom was in the ICU at Cleveland Clinic's Fairview Hospital on March 14th.  She had an amazing nurse there named Kate--unfortunately, I do not know her last name.  Kate was extraordinary to my Mom.  She kept me incredibly well-informed about my Mom's care.  Even after my Mom was out of the ICU, Kate actually went to visit my Mom multiple times when she was moved out of the ICU to a regular room.  We were beyond grateful to Kate for her extraordinary care, kindness, and compassion for my Mom and our family during such a challenging and difficult time for us.  Thank you Kate for going above and beyond!

Tena Nutting

Honored by Leslie Robbins

I’m the social worker in the UH Richmond ER and am so lucky to get to work with the most amazing group of nurses. I’m especially fortunate to share my office with the ER assistant nurse manager Tena. She works tirelessly to keep  the department running, including by boosting the morale of the staff when things get hard, coming in on nights and weekends when shifts need covered, helping out wherever when the department is busy, and sharing her big heart with everyone she encounters. She is such a diligent worker and Richmond is so much better because of it.

Meghan Jankowski

Honored by Chris Milliron

She’s a true warrior. She has worked in the covid unit without a complaint. Also She has three little Boys who became a teacher when they closed the schools.

Patricia Erin Lally

Honored by Tammi Mosback

"I just want to honor Patricia Lally because she works extremely hard to help the patients coming into the ER. She works night shift in the Emergency Department at South West Hospital ! As her Mom I see how stressful and emotional she has become especially during this pandemic. However, I am so grateful that Patricia is Lucky enough to have such a strong bond with her “EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT FAMILY ” We only hear/see a small percentage of exactly what doctors and nurses do for people that are in desperate need of medical attention. So Honestly I think ALL The Night Shifter’s in the EMERGENCY ROOM really need to be recognized and honored everywhere especially during 2021 Nurses Week.

FYI:  I also have 2 - Daughter in Laws that are Registered Nurses (Jessica Lally works at University Hospital who is also in the process of becoming a Nurse practitioner. Way to Go Jess!

And Alyssa Lally is also a Registered Nurse works at the Cleveland Clinic and. Nothing stops her from going to work to help the patients that she takes care of on a daily basis. She is also 31 weeks pregnant with my Grandson ! 💙 She’s Due June 22,2021."
