Meet Ansley Standridge, the softball player from Locust Grove High School who's teaching others how to be their best every day. Ansley was nominated to be a positive athlete not only because she's an athlete on her own, but because she teachers adaptive athletes to be their best too. Ansley helps lead her school's Adaptive Physical Education class, where students with moderate to severe disabilities are taught skills needed in athletics and beyond.
We sat down with Ansley and learned where her determination comes from, what positivity means to her, and why everyone says she's got a genuine "old soul".
