We all know the best ways to fight against COVID-19 is through taking preventative measures such as getting the vaccine, wearing a mask and social distancing, but the U.K. has found a fun new way that might help in the fight against COVID. The study concluded that people who had five or more glasses of red wine a week had a 17% lower risk of catching the virus. Do you think this is possible?

Let's take a closer look at what's in red wine that could make this a possibility. The scientists who ran the study believe it's because of the high content of polyphenol found in red wine. Polyphenol is known to help fight the flu and other respiratory conditions. Ironically people who were reported drinking beer and ciders were actually at a 28% higher risk of catching COVID, so this is just an positive benefit of wine.
