The Home Depot Backyard and REI Co-op will partner for second straight year to host the GreATL Backyard Campout on June 3-4. The two-day event, held at the 11-acre greenspace adjacent to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will include a Saturday night campout followed by additional programming on Sunday.

This event uniquely aligns with our organization's three pillars of health and wellness, arts and culture, and inspired learning while bringing a one-of-a-kind camping experience to Atlanta's westside," states Sarah Meyers, Senior Director of The Home Depot Backyard.
After a successful inaugural event, the GreATL Backyard Campout will serve as the ultimate glamping experience for nearly 1,000 overnight campers. In addition to camping, the community is invited to participate in bike and climbing activities, music, a chill zone, a movie showing, food trucks, and many other activations. This signature event will continue to provide a holistic REI experience to first timers and returning attendees, who will have on-site access to over 30 brand partners and local vendors.
The Home Depot Backyard annually delivers community programming focused on three key pillars: Arts and Culture, Health and Wellness and Inspired Learning. In 2022, The Home Depot Backyard hosted over 30,000 visitors through its programs and signature events, offering programming throughout the season focused on empowering the greater Atlanta community.
