The historic Powerball jackpot has most of the country seeing dollar signs -- $2 billion... who do you think will win?

It's the fourth largest jackpot in U.S. history, and the second largest Powerball jackpot of all time, behind the $1.586 billion prize won in January 2016.
The lucky winner will be able to take the money in annual installments over a 29-year period, or accept one lump sum. Lottery officials say most people choose the latter. A jackpot of that size is not easy to wrap your head around.
The odds of winning are an astronomical 1 in 292.2 million. It might be a longshot, but half the fun of playing for massive jackpots is dreaming of what you could buy.
If you happen to be the luckiest person in America, the possibilities of how you could spend that gigantic windfall are nearly endless.
So, what could $2 billion do for you?

If you've ever dreamed of owning your very own NHL team, this could be your chance. The Ottawa Senators have been put up for sale, seven months after owner Eugene Melnyk passed away, according to listing agency Galatioto Sports Partners. While a price for the team hasn't been revealed, a recent evaluation found the franchise to be worth $655 million.
If you want to get away, you could literally own your very own slice of paradise. Full of lush vegetation, sandy beaches and surrounded by crystal blue waters, hundreds of private islands are currently listed for sale.
You could buy the 110-acre Rangyai Island just east of Phuket in Thailand for $1.6 million. It's the largest island currently available for sale in the region, and comes complete with fresh water, electric generator and mobile signal. Or head to the Caribbean and own a pair of tropical islands, Bird Cay and Cat Cay, with a combined 267 acres in the Bahamas. A listing says the islands "are a unique tropical paradise tailor-made for a business retreat, a family compound, or a stunning island resort," with a price tag of $50 million. Or, you don't even need to leave the country -- just head to Florida where you could own the 26-acre Pumpkin Key. Located in the tropics of Card Sound Bay in the Florida Keys, the island features one main home with three bedrooms, two caretaker's cottages and a dock master's apartment, with a golf cart path circling the island, for the price of just $95 million.
You could also travel in style, luxurious style. If you like to be behind the wheel, the keys to one of the most expensive cars in the world could be yours. Just imagine cruising around in the $28 million Rolls-Royce Boat Tail. Maybe you want a supercar like the Bugatti Bolide, only 30 of which will be produced with the starting price around $4.8 million. Or you could try your best to feel like James Bond in the Aston Martin Victor for $3 million.
Classic cars might be harder to get your hands on, but some owners may be willing to sell if the price is right. Take the 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO, which became the most expensive classic car in the world when it sold $70 million in 2018. That's double the second-most expensive classic car, 1957 Ferrari 335 S, which sold for just over $30 million in 2016, or the 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 Silver Arrow which sold at auction in 2013 for $29.6 million.
You could also hit the skies in your own private jet. You could own a Gulfstream G500 for just under $45 million, an Airbus ACJ318 Elite for $26.5 million, a Dassault Falcon 7X for just under $20 million, or a Cessna Citation Sovereign+ for $12.5 million.

Maybe you want to fill your liquor cabinet with some of the finest libations. The most expensive spirit in the world is D’Amalfi Limoncello Supreme. With only two diamond-encrusted bottles known to exist, it will set you back $44 million. Another bling-covered bottle, Henri IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne, is adorned with nearly 7,000 diamonds, is 100-years-old, and costs $1.9 million. One of the most searched for and collected whiskies in the world, The Macallan "M," sold for just under $630,000 at auction.
If wine is more your taste, the most expensive bottle ever sold was a vintage Romanée-Conti 1945 for $558,000, followed by Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon 1992 for $500,000 and Cheval-Blanc 1947 for $304,375.
You could become a fine art connoisseur. These might be nearly impossible to obtain, but again, money talks. The most expensive painting ever sold at auction was Leonardo da Vinci's "Salvator Mundi" for $475.4 million, followed by Pablo Picasso's "Les Femmes d'Alger (Version O)" for $195.8 million, and Amedeo Modigliani's "Nu Couché" for $186.1 million.
Want to live like a king or queen? You could buy an actual castle. In France, just 20 minutes west of Paris, you could own the "Palais" estate, built in 1899 and inspired by the style of the Grand Trianon palace, for just under $38 million. In Italy, you could be the new owner of "Villa Mansi" in Tuscany, with eight bedrooms across four floors on a grand estate with stables, a farmer's house, park with lakes and expansive garden, for just under $17.5 million. In Ireland, you could own "Ballindoolin House," built in Kildare in 1822 and fully restored, for just over $4.6 million.

If you'd prefer to stay in America, you could be the new owner of a full-fledged dude ranch in Oregon. "The Ranch at Aspen Ridge" is 3,598 acres completely off grid and functional year-round for recreation, surrounded by timber stands of ponderosa pines and a variety of wildlife that roam the blocked lush acreage, for $10.6 million. You could also live on a vineyard in Healdsburg, California. A listing for a 100+ acre estate winery describes it as "one of the finest properties in the entire Dry Creek Valley" for $15 million. Looking for a luxury waterfront property? "House North Palm Beach," the largest oceanfront parcel on the market in South Florida spanning over 6.5 acres with 563 linear feet of ocean-frontage, is currently listed for $145 million.
Perhaps you want to spend a life out at sea. You deserve it, a brand new boat. Some of the most expensive yachts for sale include the "Sea Owl," which can accommodate 14 guests, for $90 million; the "Laurel," described as the most iconic of all US yachts with room for 17 guests, for $69.5 million; and the "Lady JJ", with room for 12 guests, for $39.9 million.
Instead of spending, maybe investing is more of your style. As of right now, Berkshire Hathaway is the most expensive stock, with stakes in a number of businesses including insurance, railroads and utilities, at $424,180 per share. That's followed by NVR, a homebuilder based in the Washington, DC area, for $4,321 per share; Seaboard, an agribusiness and transportation company based in the Kansas City area, at $3,466 per share; and Autozone, known for its chain of automotive retail stores, at $2,205 per share.
The Powerball drawing is Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET and tickets cost just $2 per play.
