Jelly Roll, Coldplay, Chappell Roan and more set for 'SNL' 50th season

Saturday Night Live, celebrating its 50th season, has revealed the show’s first bundle of hosts and musical guests. Take a look at the first group to be announced below.

Kicking off on September 28, season 50 of SNL will feature 2024 Emmy winner Jean Smart as host for her very first time, along with musical guest Jelly Roll.

Into October, comedian Nate Bargatze will host while Coldplay takes the stage as the night’s featured artist on the 5th – their eighth career performance on the show.

Ariana Grande and Stevie Nicks will share respective roles on the 12th; Beetlejuice star Michael Keaton will host while Billie Eilish performs on the 19th; and on November 2, John Mulaney returns to host with 2024 Best New Artist MTV VMA winner Chappell Roan as the evening’s musical guest.

Saturday Night Live, created and executive produced by Lorne Michaels, will also celebrate its 50th season with a weekend-long look back at the late-night sketch series, culminating with a live, three-hour primetime special on February 16 on NBC at 11:30PM ET and streaming on Peacock.
