Jelly Roll, Dr. Dre, Slash and more set for Rock Hall induction ceremony

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled the first round of special guests set to join the establishment's 39th induction ceremony taking place October 19 the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, OH.

Standouts on the list of those scheduled to present, perform and/or honor this years nominees include Julia Roberts, Demi Lovato, Dr. Dre, Dua Lipa, Keith Urban, Slash, Kenny Chesney, Sammy Hagar, James Taylor and Jelly Roll. Additional entertainment icons scheduled to participate are Busta Rhymes, Ella Mai, Lucky Daye, Mac McAnally, Method Man, Roger Daltrey, and The Roots.

This years’ ceremony will honor inductees Foreigner, Dave Matthews BandCherA Tribe Called Quest,  Mary J. BligeOzzy OsbourneKool & the Gang, and Peter Frampton. Additionally, Musical Excellence awards will be bestowed upon the late Jimmy Buffett and Motown Sound creator Norman Whitfield, as well as Michigan rockers MC5, and beloved singer and entertainer Dionne Warwick. Musical Influence awards will also be given to Blues/R&B musicians Alexis KornerJohn Mayall, and Big Mama Thornton, while music, film, and TV producer Suzanne de Passe will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2024 ceremony will take place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, October 19. The ceremony will stream live on Disney+ and be available on Hulu following the premiere, along with a special broadcast on ABC.
