Mac Miller's Posthumous Album 'Circles' Coming Out Jan. 17

Late Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller’s final album “Circles” will be released on January 17, two days before what would've been his 28th birthday.

Miller’s family released a statement on Instagram Wednesday making the announcement.

The say “At the time of his passing, Malcolm was well into the process of recording his companion album to Swimming, entitled Circles. Two different styles complementing each other, completing a circle – Swimming in Circles was the concept.”

After Miller died co-producer and co-writer Jon Brion, who also worked with Miller on Swimming, “dedicated himself to finishing Circles based on his time and conversations with Malcolm.”

Miller, who was born Malcolm McCormick in Pittsburgh died from a drug overdose on September 7, 2018.
