WWE superstar Corey Graves stopped by the 100.7 Star studios to co-host the Bubba Show from 8am-10am Friday and was an incredible guest from start-to-finish.
Bubba and Graves go back decades, including the current-Monday Night Raw commentator's start in professional wrestling, as well as his introduction to the being a radio host on 93.7 The Fan.
As the duo discussed above, Graves' time with 93.7 The Fan was integral in getting the commentator job with the WWE after his wrestling career came to a halt due to concussions.
The Monroeville-native was talking with Michael Cole, the current Smackdown Live play-by-play announcer, and told him of his experience on The Fan, prompting the WWE legend to suggest the announce desk as his next venture in sports entertainment.
However, in 2021, Graves told Bubba he got a clean bill of health and said he could wrestle again, but doctors aren't quite suggesting it. At this time, the WWE hasn't officially cleared Graves, but he told Bubba he would love to wrestle Seth Rollins if given the opportunity.
While juggling color commentary duties, hosting his own podcast, as well as a podcast with his significant other, WWE superstar Carmella, the dynamic duo launched a reality show on the WWE's YouTube channel, Corey and Carmella. In the debut episode, they go house hunting and talked with Bubba about it talking over one year to find the right fit.
Regarding Graves' position on the announce desk, everything is 100% live, so Bubba then had to ask if WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is often in his ear during the show.
Monday Night Raw is returning to Pittsburgh for the March 28th edition of the show at the PPG Paints Arena! It's the last episode of Raw before WrestleMania kicks off on April 2nd from Arlington, Texas at the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium.
