Could where you live have anything to do with how long you stick to your New Year's resolution?
According to a new study, the answer is yes.
WalletHub.com looked at a ton of stats for 182 major cities in the U.S., and ranked them according to how easy it is to keep your resolution.
They looked at 57 different factors, including overall health stats, financial stats, and binge-drinking rates. They even looked at things like how many fast food places there are to tempt you.
According to the results, the city where you're most likely to stick to your resolution this year is . . . San Diego.
And half of the top ten are in California.
The ten cities where it's easiest to keep your resolution are San Diego, Scottsdale, Arizona, San Francisco, Seattle, San Jose, California, Irvine, California, Austin, Texas, Plano, Texas, Salt Lake City, and Fremont, California.
The cities where it's the HARDEST are Gulfport, Mississippi, Newark, Shreveport, Louisiana, Detroit, and Jackson, Mississippi.
They also broke it down by TYPE of resolution. San Diego is best for health-related stuff. Overland Park, Kansas is #1 for money-related things. And San Francisco took the top spot for relationship resolutions.
