Just in time to celebrate the St. Patrick's Day holiday, McDonald's is bringing back its iconic mint-flavored Shamrock Shake.
The minty green milkshake returns to restaurants on February 15.
Plus, fans will also have an extra lucky charm to satisfy their sweet tooth as the restaurant will once again add relative newcomer the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry to their holiday menu.
The McFlurry, which made its debut in 2020, features Shamrock Shake-flavored ice cream with Oreo cookie chunks mixed in.
The Shamrock Shake started out as a local treat in 1967 at a Connecticut McDonald's, but hit the fast food chain's menu nationwide in 1970.
In 1974, sales from the shake were used to help build the very first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. At the time, the daughter of an Eagles player was undergoing leukemia treatments.
