AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person died and 59 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Sunday in Travis County, local health officials said.
Austin Public Health says there are now 2,847 confirmed cases of the disease in Travis County. The new death brings the total number of deaths to 84.
1,008 of the cases are considered to be recovered, an increase of 32 from Saturday.
Across the five county area, 82 patients are hospitalized, with 39 in intensive care and 21 on ventilators.
