AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is adding water parks, recreational sports programs, shopping mall food courts, and driver education programs to the list of businesses able to re-open.

The new proclamation allows for water parks to open across the state beginning May 29, with an occupancy limit of 25%. Areas that have video arcades must remain closed.

Beginning May 31, recreational sports programs for adults can resume, but games and similar competitions can not begin until June 15.

Driver education programs can resume immediately, the proclamation says.

Finally, shopping mall food courts can resume operations immediately. Malls are encouraged to designate one or more individuals to ensure health and safety practices are followed, including limiting tables to no more than six individuals, maintaining six foot separation between tables, cleaning and disinfecting, and ensuring no condiments or other items are left on tables between customer uses.

Abbott is expected to speak Wednesday from Amarillo, where one of the state's Surge Reponse Teams has been dealing with an outbreak.
