AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed Saturday night in south Austin.
First responders were called to the 10000 block of Menchaca Road, near Slaughter Lane, just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Medics pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
Police say the driver involved was arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
