NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A New York-based street-artist is honoring the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg with a three-story tall mural in the East Village.

“Excited to create a piece to celebrate this bad ass, incredible woma.," the artist, who goes by the name “Elle,” wrote on Instagram.

The mural, which should be finished in about two weeks, stands on the corner of 11th Street and 1st Avenue.

It will feature a collage of the mural will include iconic New York symbols, including Lady Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge, which honors the borough where she was born.

RGB died in September at age 87, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
