TRAVIS COUNTY (Talk1370.com) -- Roughly 24 hours after it started, crews have contained a wildfire burning in southeast Travis County near the Caldwell and Bastrop County borders.
Texas A&M Forest Service officials said the Bushy Gate Fire was 100% contained around 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. Travis County fire crews first reported the fire Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. near Doyle Overton Road.
The fire grew to 152 acres, officials said.
Five structures were threatened by the fire but saved by firefighting efforts.
