TRAVIS COUNTY (Talk1370.com) -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious death after a "badly burned" body was discovered in eastern Travis County on Thursday afternoon.
Travis County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 8800 block of Roadrunner View Road just after 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Deputies found a structure that had burned to the ground and completely burned itself out.
A woman's body was found in the debris.
An autopsy was performed by the Travis County Medical Examiner and the results are pending; the Travis County Fire Marshal is also investigating the fire to help determine what may have led to the woman's death.
