
AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Early voting is now underway for the November 8 general election, kicking off the final two-week sprint to Election Day.
Travis County will operate a total of 38 early voting sites across the county, including five mega-center sites. Registered voters can cast a ballot at any of the locations.
Each of the 38 sites will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday. The five mega-center sites will stay open until 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Nov. 4.
Early voting ends on Friday, Nov. 4.
Williamson County will operate 17 full-time sites and four part-time sites. The full-time sites will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday. The part-time sites, in Bartlett, Florence, Granger, and Thrall, will only be open from Oct. 31 through Nov. 4 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
In Hays County, early voting will run at 14 sites from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. beginning Oct. 24 through Oct. 28, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30, and from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. from Monday, Oct. 31 through Friday, Nov. 4.
Voters will need to provide one of the seven forms of acceptable photo identification when casting their ballot, or fill out an affidavit alongside a supporting form of identification. More details can be found on VoteTexas.gov.
