AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead after a shooting in far east Austin early Monday morning.
Austin Police say it happened just after midnight in the 8000 block of Garcreek Circle, near the intersection of Loyola Lane and Decker Lane.
Officers and paramedics attempted to save the male victim, but he was ultimately pronounced deceased on the scene.

Police say there's no information on a suspect at this time. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call APD's Homicide tip line at (512) 974-8477.
This would be the city's 64th homicide of the year.
