AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Here is the latest information on warming shelters that have been opened across the area, as power outages and bitter cold temperatures persist in much of Central Texas.

Travis County centers with available capacity:
Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Road, Austin, 78704
Del Valle High School, 5201 Ross Road, Del Valle, 78617

Austin ISD is offering warming centers that are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with minimal resources, but will allow people to warm up and charge essential medical devices. These are located at:

Russell Lee Elementary School, 3308 Hampton Road, Austin, 78704
Murchison Middle School, 3700 N Hills Drive, Austin, 78731

Hays County warming centers/shelters:
Southside Community Center, 518 S Guadalupe, San Marcos
Salvation Army, 300 S CM Allen Parkway, Suite 100, San Marcos
Hays Hills Baptist Church, 1401 N Farm to Market 1626, Buda
Dripping Springs United Methodist, 28900 RR 12, Dripping Springs
