One dead in southeast Austin shooting

AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police are searching for a suspect involved in a deadly shooting on the city's southeast side Sunday night.

Police received a report of shots fired in the 2200 block of East Riverside Drive, just east of Interstate 35, around 5:20 p.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found a man lying in the parking lot. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police say the incident appears to be isolated, with no ongoing threat to the public.

Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
