AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Police say a hit-and-run crash in southeast Austin Wednesday morning turned fatal, killing a male pedestrian.
Austin-Travis County EMS said the crash was first reported just after 5:30 a.m. near Montopolis and East Riverside. An adult male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Austin Police said the driver involved fled the scene. No information on the driver or suspect vehicle was immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
