
AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Austin Police are searching for a shooter following a homicide in East Austin Monday night.
Police responded to the 4700 block of Bandera Road, just southeast of Springdale Road and MLK around 8:15 p.m. Monday after getting reports of multiple gunshots in the area.
When police arrived, they found a male victim with "obvious signs of trauma." He was pronounced deceased a short time later, officials said.
Police say no one is in custody as of Tuesday morning.
The shooting marks the city's 63rd homicide of the year.
