AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Police are investigating a northwest Austin shooting Wednesday that sent two children and an adult to the hospital.
Police say the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. in the 4100 block of Balboa Lane, just northwest of Duval Road and MoPac, with reports of multiple gunshots being fired.
When officers arrived, they found the three victims with gunshot wounds. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, witnesses said.
The adult woman was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, while the two children were taken to Dell Children's Medical Center. All three had non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they believe the victims and the suspect know each other, and that this was a targeted attack.
