AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Police are investigating a homicide in north Austin Sunday evening - the city's 65th homicide of 2021.
According to Austin Police, multiple 911 callers reported hearing gunshots in the 500 block of Longspur Boulevard around 7:20 p.m. Sunday. That's near the intersection of Rundberg Lane and North Lamar Boulevard.
Officers arrived on the scene a few minutes later, and found a male victim lying on the ground with "obvious" signs of trauma. He was pronounced deceased a few minutes later.
No details on a suspect are available at this time, and detectives are continuing to investigate the case.
